We aim to please!

The guesthouse reception desks are located at the entrance of the buildings and are open round the clock. The buildings are locked after midnight, and visitors must use the bell at the entrance to be let in.

Visitors staying at the guesthouses, when checking in, will be assisted with all formalities. Those with stays extending from 9 to 90 days will be assisted with the declaration of stay to be presented to the Police Headquarters through the Visa Office.

Badges and e-mail account: Upon checking in at the guesthouse reception, all visitors receive their printed name badge and an active badge (for the electronic access control system) in a plastic holder, with the visitor's ICTP e-mail account username and password.

If lodging outside ICTP guesthouses, visitors will receive their badges and e-mail account upon registration.

Before leaving ICTP, visitors must return their badges in the "Badge collection box" near the reception.

Meal Coupons: Participants who are entitled to receive meal coupons and when arriving at the guesthouses receive 5 coupons from the guesthouse reception. The guesthouse receptions will issue the balance, one day after the on line registration is completed. Please see time table for distribution, displayed at the reception desks.

Visitors without coupons may pay with cash at the cafeterias.

Safe deposit boxes: Visitors may request for a safe deposit box from the reception desk.

Guesthouse cashier: Visitors staying at the ICTP guesthouses should settle their bills (accommodation and any telephone charges) at the guesthouse cashier (reception desk) one day before their departure. Guesthouses accept payments either in cash (euro), by Pos or by credit cards (Cartasi, MasterCard, American Express, Visa)

Laundry Services: Visitors may use laundry rooms, located on the ground floor of the GGH and on the lower level 1 at the AGH, after booking the room at the reception desks. Cost per use is €2.

Bus tickets for the local city buses and the airport are available at the reception desks.

International calls: There are phone booths both at the AGH and GGH guesthouses. Visitors may call using magnetic telephone cards. Magnetic telephone cards can be purchased at the reception desk or from the vending machines in Leonardo building.

At the AGH there is a second booth where visitors can make national and international calls.  Call payments should be made to the guesthouse cashier.
