Astrophysics for laypeople

The successful lecture series Vagabondi del Cosmo returns this year with another five lectures designed to introduce the general public to the world of astrophysics. This year's lectures have special relevance to the International Year of Astronomy, as well as Darwin's celebrations. One of the five lecturers is Marcello Musso, a post-doc in ICTP's High Energy Section. He will speak on evolving universes on 21 April. All lectures will be in Italian. The first four shall take place at Casa della Musica, in Trieste's old part of town. ICTP is a co-sponsor of the lecture series together with the University of Trieste, SISSA, Trieste's Astronomic Observatory, and Immaginario Scientifico.
