ICTP and Copenhagen

ICTP has at least two links to the current, important climate change talks taking place in Copenhagen: through its Regional Climate Change Model (RegCM) maintained by the Centre's Earth System Physics section, which played an important role in the most recent IPCC Assessment Report; and through its recent donation of High Performance Computing equipment to Addis Ababa University, where it will be used to train a new generation of African climate modellers.
