15/08/2017 - Trieste

Looking to refresh your knowledge on string theory? Wondering what’s happening out in the universe? Want to find out the latest advances in condensed matter physics? ICTP can help!

The Center has just published its 2018 Scientific Calendar, its list of scientific conferences, workshops and seminars anticipated for the coming calendar year. From particle physics to dynamic systems to climate modeling, the conference offerings appeal to a wide range of interests. The activities are free, and require the completion of an online application form* by prospective participants. Attendance is limited to those who have been chosen through a competitive selection process. A limited number of travel grants are available to support the attendance of selected participants, with priority given to participants from developing countries. There is no registration fee.

A few travel fellowships are available for nationals of several countries.

Lecturers in past activities have included Nobel Laureates and Fields Medallists, providing conferences attendees with unparalleled access to some of the top thinkers in the world.

ICTP's 2018 Scientific Calendar activities will take place not only at its main campus in Trieste, Italy, but also throughout the world, including ones in Senegal, Ghana, Brazil and China.

* Please note that the online application forms become activated once the activity is ready to accept applications. This typically happens several months before the scheduled date of the activity. If you do not see a link to the application form on the web page of your chosen activity, check back frequently until it appears.
