FAQs about the Joint Masters in Physics

Q. When can I apply to the programme?

A. The courses for the Masters Degree begin in October each year. As such, the call for applications is normally announced in January with the deadline for receiving applications in April. There is only one call for applications per year.

Q. Can I apply for a scholarship after the deadline?

A. No. There is only one call for applications per year. Applications that are received after the deadline will not be accepted.

Q. I am currently doing my BSc. Can I apply to this programme?

A. In order to apply to this programme, you should send us a copy of your university degrees and their relevant transcripts. If you cannot send us this supporting documentation, then we regret that you cannot apply to the programme at this time.

Q. I have a masters in physics. Am I overqualified for the programme?

A. The Masters Degree corresponds to the last two years of the New European Educational System, as fixed by the Bologna-Sorbonne agreement, and can be compared to an advanced master in physics or in astrophysics in the Anglo-Saxon system. As such, it is indicated for those who are in possession of a masters degree.
