Physics Without Frontiers

Worldwide physics outreach

In Vietnam there has been substantial efforts by dedicated physicists working to develop High Energy Physics (HEP) research in Vietnam. Much of the work has been invested in integrating Vietnam into the world scientific community through organising a number of established conferences, workshops and schools.

Vietnam VVPhto

To support these efforts and help build the next generation of scientists Physics Without Frontiers organised masterclasses at two main universities in Vietnam and at the 20th Vietnam School of Physics (VSOP-20) where students were given dedicated lectures in particle physics, analysed data from the LHC and interacted with a Vietnamese scientist live at CERN through an ATLAS Virtual Visit. Read more on the project here.

A number of motivated students have been consistently emerging from Vietnam, participating in HEP research.
