Postdoc, Visiting Opportunities at ICTP

Calling all outstanding mathematicians and physicists: there are now several research and visiting opportunities available at ICTP. Several of the Center's research groups are seeking applicants for postdoctoral positions as well as short-term visiting researcher positions.

With ICTP's constant flow of visitors and guest lecturers, intense program of workshops and conferences, and close collaborations with nearby scientific institutions such as ELETTRA, SISSA, and the University of Trieste, the research environment stays vibrant and provides a fruitful context for postdoctoral fellows and visiting researchers.  Young researchers are encouraged to apply for the postdoctoral positions, and researchers of any age are encouraged to apply for the visiting opportunities. The positions are as follows:

Applied Physics

• Postdoctoral Fellowship, Theoretical/Computational Applied Physics, 1+1 years, starting February 2017 (deadline 25 November 2016)

Earth System Physics

• Postdoctoral Fellowship in earthquake ground-motion simulations, 1+1 years (deadline 8 January 2017)

High Energy, Cosmology and Astroparticle Physics
