ICTP Arab Fund Associates

The ICTP-Arab Fund Associate programme will enable scientists from Arab countries, at all stages of their careers, to maintain long term contacts with the stimulating and active scientific environment of the ICTP.

Arab Fund Associates will visit the ICTP for one to two months per year during the three-year period of their award. They may bring also a PhD or Masters student of their choice for each of the visits.

In addition to the research fields listed below, ICTP-Arab Fund Associates can also pursue research in the field of Digital and Computer Networking.

Who can apply

Eligible are scientists who hold a PhD and are nationals of and working in Arab Fund Member States (Algeria, Bahrain, Comoros, Djibuti, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Syria, Sudan, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, Yemen). Special attention will be given to least developed countries & geographical distribution.

Entitlements

ICTP Arab Fund Associates and their accompanying students are entitled to daily living allowances for the entire duration of their stay, travel support and medical insurance.
