How to find news, photos and videos from ICTP's 50th anniversary event
Digital Impressions

Perhaps you missed Rwanda President Paul Kagame describing the transformative impact of ICTP in developing countries. Or maybe you want to hear, once more, the inspiring description of mathematics by Cédric Villani.

Videos of these talks and more are now available on ICTP's website and via its social media channels. The materials include the ICTP alumni testimonials compilation, the public talk by Carlo Rubbia, and the Dirac medal ceremony and lectures, all of which are available on ICTP's YouTube channel, along with all the scientific lectures and talks that were presented at the ICTP 50th Anniversary celebration. Videos of the anniversary speakers--along with many of their presentations--are also available for download from ICTP's scientific calendar.

The dedicated ICTP 50th Anniversary webpages include links to the programme, news related to the event and photos, as well as information about the parallel events, which showcased a photo exhibit about Women in Physics in the Palestinian Territories, and open days at ICTP's new Scientific Fabrication Laboratory (SciFabLab), among other events.

Videos of a fascinating discussion between the 2014 Dirac medallists Ashoke Sen, Andrew Strominger and Gabriele Veneziano, and interviews with mathematician and director of Institut Henri Poincaré Cédric Villani, Rwandan Minister of Education Silas Lwakabamba, and John Dudley, President of the European Physical Society, will be available soon. So stay tuned!
